The platform brings together risk monitoring, impact analysis and early‑action triggers in one shared workspace, supporting decisions based on who and what will be affected, not just how strong a hazard is.

What it does

  • Translates forecasts into expected impacts on people and services
  • Supports early action through impact‑based thresholds and documented decisions

All aligned with IFRC anticipatory action guidance and operational practice.

Built for the Movement

National Risk Watch is part of the IFRC GO ecosystem, connecting anticipatory action with preparedness and operations. It integrates global disaster data through global crisis data bank Montandon, strengthening impact analysis and shared learning over time.

Co‑developed by الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات الصليب الأحمر والهلال الأحمر و ال Netherlands Red Cross’ data and digital team, 510, National Risk Watch supports Movement‑wide priorities such as Early Warnings for All and the scale‑up of anticipatory action.
