Digital solutions that turn data into action

As National Societies collect increasing amounts of data across all operations, the need for reliable and sustainable data management systems is more urgent than ever.

Our Data Management Systems service ensures that information remains accurate, easy to update, securely accessible, and connected across platforms, enabling long-term tracking, validation, reporting, and actionable insights.

We help National Societies set up o develop customized systems so that they can:

  • Track y manage data to monitor trends and outcomes over time.
  • Ensure data accuracy through validation and updates, even after collection.
  • Integrate seamlessly with Movement platforms such as the 121 Plataforma y el Digital Engagement Hub (DEH), or with their own local systems
  • Enable secure access with role-based permissions down to individual records.
  • Automate processes such as notifications, approvals, and data quality checks.

Our approach is to start from the systems that National Societies already use, and to help integrate them seamlessly with each other. When specific digital products are of interest (e.g. DEH), we help the National Society assess suitability, plan for implementation, and provide hands-on assistance with integrating them in their existent infrastructure. When no existing products are a good fit or the problem at hand, we look at customized data management systems.

Our systems are co-designed with National Societies to ensure solutions that are locally led, sustainable, and aligned with the Red Cross Red Crescent network’s data standards. For this, we offer ready-to-use templates for common use cases, which can be quickly adapted to each context.

By building data systems together, we strengthen the digital foundations that make humanitarian action more efficient, connected, and impactful.
